Carolyn Sue Barron, 61, of Memphis, passed away April 30, 2012. The family will receive friends from 5-7 p.m. Thursday, May 3, at Family Funeral Care on Summer Avenue, and graveside services will be held at 2 p.m. Friday, May 4, at Memory Hill Gardens Cemetery in Bartlett. A 1969 graduate of Bartlett High School, Carolyn retired after 32 years with Allstate Insurance Company as a claims adjuster, and she was a member of Leawood Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her son, Ronald “Sonny” Barron. Carolyn leaves behind her brother, Eddie Scruggs and his wife Donna; her niece, Devin Marie Scruggs; her nephew, Noel Scruggs; and her lifelong friend, Lew Talbert. Memorial contributions may be directed to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
