Charles Lawrence Boehm, 84, of Collierville, went to be with the Lord February 23, 2011 at his home. A life member of the Masonic Lodge, he was also a member of Al Chymia Shrine Temple, and also Audubon Park Baptist Church. He retired from Ft. Howard Paper Company, and enjoyed golf and travel. He also served in the Merchant Marines during WWII and then later in the Army. He is survived by his wife of 62 years, Gladys Boehm; one son, Charles Michael (Tammy) Boehm; two grandchildren Charles Matthew Boehm, and Ashley Paige Boehm; and one step sister, Jean Fullerton of Florida. The family will receive friends Friday from 4:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at Memphis Funeral Home and Memorial Gardens, Poplar Avenue. Funeral services will be Saturday at 2:00 p.m. also at the funeral home. Burial will follow at Memorial Park.
