Charles Lawrence Schuster

Charles Lawrence Schuster, 68, of Hernando MS, passed away July 11, 2014. The family will gather to receive friends on Monday, July 14, from 5:00 – 8:00 p.m., at Family Funeral Care on Summer Avenue. Funeral services will be held in the Rotunda of West Tennessee Veterans Cemetery at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, July 15, with full Military Honors. Charlie was born in Harrisburg, PA on July 19, 1945. Upon completion of high school, he joined the U.S. Navy, where he proudly served in the U.S. and abroad, until his retirement in 1982. Following his retirement, he continued his aviation career and his love of flying. Charlie was preceded in death by his wife and the love of his life, Connie Lee Schuster. He is survived by 3 daughters, Sherry Schuster Romero, Margie Smith (Tony), and Sharon Schuster Priefer; 4 sons, Charles R. Schuster, Bryan Whitaker (Dorie), Bryce Whitaker (Sara), and Russell Whitaker; his sister, Kathy Anderson; and 12 loving grandchildren, Kalyn, Abby, Tyler, Joshua, Nathanial, Preston, Jaxson, Savana, Langford, Ellis, Graham, and Nora.
