Charles R. Walker

Charles Ray Walker, 81, died June 14, 2012 at his home in Collierville, Tennessee. Mr. Walker has retired from FedEx as a team leader, John Ellis Chevrolet and Pryor Oldsmobile as a salesman, and the United States Air Force as a Staff Sergeant . Mr. Walker was an avid Dallas Cowboys fan, loved to fish and was the greatest big brother who every walked the face of the earth. His family will receive guests and friends on Sunday, June 17 from 3 p.m. - 6 p.m. and funeral services will be on Monday, June 18 beginning at 10AM all at Memphis Funeral Home and Memorial Gardens at 5599 Poplar Avenue. Frank Loosier will be the celebrant. Burial with procession will follow in Memphis Memory Gardens on Raleigh LaGrange Road. Mr. Walker was preceded in death by his wife Ann Walker; daughter Robin Wynn; son Herbert Walker; and granddaughter Kelsey Ann Rainey. He is survived by his daughter Lisa Rainey (Mike); son Rob Walker (Karen); sisters Janiece Kennon and Elain Davis both of Collierville; brother Jimmy Walker of Coldwater, MS; and five grandchildren Billy, Austin, Davis, Brooke and Michelle.
