Mrs. Cheryl Conder Sims

Cheryl Conder Sims, 48, of Germantown, passed away May 21, 2010. Born May 10, 1962, Cheryl graduated from Germantown High School in 1980, and was a Beta Club and National Honor Society member. She graduated from Harding University in 1984 with a B.S. in Education, and was a member of Germantown Church of Christ, where she was Coordinator of Centurion of Scripture and Girls Bible Reading for Lads to Leaders. She also taught the class for 1’s and 2’s for many years, and was children’s librarian. Cheryl taught at Central Learning and Day Care for ten years and at the time of her death she owned and operated the Loving Touch Day Care. She is survived by her husband, Timothy Paul Sims, whom she married June 20, 1986; three children, Cody, Chelsea, and Collin; her parents, Glenn and Doris Conder; two brothers, Eddie (Melissa) Conder and Mark (Brenda) Conder; six nieces and five nephews. Funeral services will be Sunday at 3:30 p.m. at Germantown Church of Christ, with visitation two hours prior at church, from 1:30-3:30 p.m. Memorials may be sent to Germantown Church of Christ Building Fund, or the Children’s Library Fund.
