Clara Ann Gentry, 78, passed away March 13, 2018 at her home in Memphis.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Jay and Clara Sigman and her daughter, Cheryl Holmes.

She is survived by her husband, Gerard Gentry; daughter, Melinda (Brad) Feaker; sons, Monte (Karen) McCrary, Jeff (Sherri) Gentry and Bryan (Erika) Gentry; fourteen grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren; and two brothers, Joe (Sandy) Sigman and Glenn (Carol) Sigman. She will be missed by her many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends who loved her.

Funeral services will be held Friday March 16, 2018 at 12 noon at Memphis Funeral Home, 5599 Poplar Avenue, Memphis. The family will receive friends for one hour prior to service time. Interment will follow at West Tennessee Veterans Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, gifts in memory of Mrs. Gentry may be offered to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
