Cuple Faust Bright

Cuple Faust Bright, 88 passed away February 4, 2015 at Applingwood Healthcare in Cordova. She was a faithful longtime member of Highland Heights Baptist Church in Memphis and a loving mother and grandmother. She devoted her time to volunteering at St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital in Memphis, and was honored in 2013 with a luncheon and inducted as a St. Jude lifetime volunteer membership.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Joe Heard and Katie Horton Heard, her husband of 43 years Oren “Red” Faust; sister, QBelle Wells and a brother, Garrett Heard.

She is survived by two daughters, Jo Ann Carroll and Lisa Faust-Woodard (Rick); one son, Danny Faust (Doris); three grandchildren, Michael Carroll, John Carroll, Dana Faust, and two great-grandchildren, Kendall Carroll and George Carroll.

The family will receive friends Monday February 9, 2015 at Memphis Funeral Home Poplar Chapel from 11 a.m. until 1 p.m. Funeral services will be conducted at 1 p.m. at Memphis Funeral Home, 5599 Poplar Avenue, Memphis, TN 38119. Interment will follow at Memphis Memory Garden on Raleigh LaGrange. In lieu of flowers, gifts in memory may be offered to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital or to Highland Heights Baptist Church.
