Curly Essiex Herod was born on January 11, 1952, in Holly Spring, Mississippi. He passed away on December 4, 2025, at the age of 73. He was a resident of Memphis, Tennessee.
A visitation will be held at Bethlehem Missionary Baptist Church, located at 918 Looney Ave, Memphis, TN 38107, on December 20, 2025, from 10:00 am to 11:00 am. Following the visitation, a Celebration of Life will take place at the same location from 11:00 am to 12:00 pm.
A committal service is scheduled for December 26, 2025, from 9:00 am to 9:20 am at West Tennessee State Veterans Cemetery, 4000 Forest Hill Irene Rd, Memphis, TN 38125.
