Daniel was a resident of Tampa, Florida, where he worked as a Territory Manager in Florida for Spectrum Brands Pfister. He graduated from Germantown High School and Mississippi State University. He was a member of Alpha Tau Omega at Mississippi State. Daniel was an Eagle Scout, a Champion Archer and loved to hunt and fish on his grandparent’s farm in Grand Junction, Tennessee. He loved animals and his dogs, Beau, Daisy and Buck, all German Shorthair Pointers.
In addition to his loving parents, Daniel leaves behind his wonderful fiancée Carly McClellan, his brother Nathan and his family, along with Grandmothers Imogene Shearon and Erna Babian as well as various aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins. Daniel was preceded in death by both grandfathers Howard Wesley Shearon and Frederick Gustav Babian.
Daniel was a selfless individual and an organ donor. Through his generosity and the dedication of family and hospital staff, his uncle, Andrew Babian received one of his kidneys so that his life may continue to the fullest potential.
While Daniel had many plans to build his life in Florida and beyond, that future can continue for Carly and their dogs—and his charismatic personality will live on in all those who knew him.
His family appreciates the kindness of his many friends, co-workers and church family.
Services will be held Saturday, April 16 at Germantown Baptist Church. Visitation will start at 10am, with a service at noon. Burial will follow at Memphis Funeral Home & Memorial Gardens, 3700 North Germantown Road, Bartlett, TN 38133.
