Dear Cousin, my favorite cousin, Darryl,

It's been so hard for me to imagine that you're no longer with us. I've been reminiscing on how we were latchkey kids walking home from school together. We could have drowned in that grudge ditch off Cornell and Alexander Street trying to take a short cut home.Even though you were just a few months younger than me, you taught me how to ride your bike, even though you thought it was a motorcycle. Your winning personality was one of a kind.  You definitely kept it 💯.  You challenged every opportunity, you always kept us laughing! You were talented and gifted and didn't take no answer from anyone. Darryl "Cedric the Entertainer" take your rest until we meet again.

You meant so much to so many all over this world!!  Everywhere you went you left your footprint, and we benefitted from your presence!

You were never a 'Duplicator, Imitator, or a Perpetrator' and for that you will always be remembered!!

Fam, u r in my prayers & Jehovah's memory.
I remember the jokester & comedian, Darryl Phillips. He will forever remain in my memory & heart as one of my favo-rite cousin. I smile just thinking about the stories he would tell; about joining the army, ditching his mom when she came to pick him up from school. All the fond memories will make ur hearts smile; maybe not today or tomorrow. After the grieving has past, someday u will smile when u think of him again. I pray 4 that day to come soon.
