Dione entered this world where she was born & raised to the parents of (father) Alfred a Pemberton of MA and (mother) Greta M. Kimmons of TN.
Dione spent her entire life in Connecticut where she attended public school until 12th grade where she shared her life with friends & family. Dione was a great asset to anyone who shared life with her. She made friends, never enemies. Dione saw the best in the worst of the world. Dione loved everyone including her 5 siblings - Danyell Gregor (New London CT) Leslie Gregor of (Tampa FL) Shannon Mayo of (Memphis TN) Jessica Gregor-Farewell of (Memphis TN) and Dubie T. Sowell Jr of (Colchester CT) whom she love & adored as she leaves the body but not their memory or hearts.
Dione found her first love when she entered the journey of motherhood with her first child. She got the precious gift from God, her 5 blessings that call her mom - Jaelyn Gregor, Jamari Walker, Kemani Walker, Jaleel Walker and Gabrielle Walker. Dione loved her little boo's she was a firm believer in it takes a village. Dione loved everyone's kids especially kids of the family. No child was unwelcome & no adult didn't have a place.
Dione felt the need to share her love as she became a companion for the elderly as she did for some time. She felt the need to share her love & give back. Dione also heard God speak as she found herself on a different journey. She heard the spirit of God move inside of her, on January 4th, 2019, Dione answered God & gave her life to Christ & got saved at the Christian praise & worship center (of Charleston SC). Dione became a soldier in Gods army. She decided to save lives as she became an organ donor sharing her unselfish love with the unknown. Dione lives on through many.
Dione leaves behind more than her memory. She leaves behind her spirit of love. She will be greatly missed by her parents who will appreciate her transition of life - Mr. Alfred A. Pemberton, Mrs. Greta & Michael Kimmons, her children, siblings, aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins & friends. She will be greeted by her deceased maternal grandparents - Edward W. Gregor II, Grace A. Gregor, Alfred Fine and Anna L. Troublefield, where they will rejoice in the presence of God.
Dione will forever be loved. Her memory will live on. We will leave her presence but never the presence of God.
The parents, children & family would like to thank all of you for your wishes, prayers & thoughts. We greatly appreciate all your kind words!
