

Don Allen Dickinson, a lifelong Memphian, died on Saturday, November 21, 2015. He was only 67. A graduate of Kingsbury High School Class of 1966, Don attended Memphis State and was a member of Bellevue Baptist Church. He was the former owner of Automotive Parts in both Byhalia & Olive Branch. He loved his family, riding his Harley Davidson, but nothing more than his Lord & Savior Jesus Christ. The family will gather in the Life Remembrance Center of Memphis Funeral Home on Tuesday, November 24 from five o’clock until eight o’clock in the evening. Funeral services will then be in the chapel of Memphis Funeral Home on Wednesday, November 25 beginning at ten o’clock in the morning. Daryl Clarke of Bellevue Baptist Church will lead the service. Don is survived by his loving wife of 29 years, Carol Helms Dickinson; daughters Tracy (David) Sharp and Kelly Dickinson; son David Cole; sister Cynthia Dickinson; brother Jack Dickinson; granddaughters Ashley Nicole & Anise Rhea Sharp; two nephews Todd & Chad Dickinson; sister-in-law Bonnie Marie Pleasant; niece Kelly Lynn Patrick; many cousins, other family and loyal friends of many years; and his three kitties whom he loved very much.
