DONALD GRANT TRAYLOR, 78, of Germantown, TN, died on April 6, 2013. He is survived by his wife of 54 years, Patricia Linn Traylor; son, Mark Alan Traylor of Nashville, TN; daughter, Donna Traylor Carrico of Germantown; daughter, Janet Traylor Addison of Cabot, AR; brother, Robert G. Traylor of Oxford, MS; sister, Karen Traylor Postma or Oak Ridge, TN, and eight grandchildren. He was a member of Germantown Baptist Church, an ordained deacon, and a Sunday School teacher for many years. He graduated from Mississippi State University and Texas A&M University and also served in the U.S. Air Force as a Captain. He was a registered professional Mechanical Engineer and worked with the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, U.S. Navy and U.S. Postal Service. He loved history, theology and classical church music and was a builder of clocks. The family will receive friends on Tuesday, April 9 from 10 a.m. until service at 11 a.m. at Memphis Funeral Home and Memorial Gardens on Poplar Ave. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
