Dorothy Mae Hurst, 95, of Memphis passed away peacefully on June 14, 2016 at St. Francis Hospital. She was a dedicated member of East Side Baptist Church, and spent her life serving the lord and caring for others. She was preceded in death by her daughter, Shelby Gulde. She is survived by three children, Gwen Morrow, Sandra Anderson, and Larry Hurst. Three grandchildren, Robert Morrow, Richard Morrow, and Ashley Kuhn, as well as five great grandchildren, Sherry, Zach, and Rick Morrow, and Bennett and Conner Williams. Visitation will be held at Memphis Funeral Home on Poplar from 2-4 on June 17, 2016. Funeral Services will be June 18, 2016 at 2pm at Memphis Funeral Home, with graveside service to follow at 3:15pm at Memphis Memory Garden on Raleigh Lagrange Rd. The family requests in lieu of flowers, donations be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital or the Wounded Warrior Project.
