DOROTHY PAULINE THOMAS ROBERTSON, 90, of Memphis, passed from this life Friday, October 31, 2014 at St. Francis Hospital. Mrs. Robertson was born November 5, 1923 in Curtis, AR to the late Nathan H. and Odessa Bittle Thomas. She attended Ouachita Baptist College, was a graduate of Louisiana State University and received her Masters in Education at Memphis State University. She retired from the Memphis City Schools as an Elementary Teacher with nearly 40 years of service and was a member of the Second Baptist Church in Memphis. Mrs. Robertson is survived by two sons, Rob Robertson and wife, Mary Dee, and Scott Robertson; a grandson, Jeremy Robertson, and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Wayne DeWitt Robertson, a sister, Corrine “Cissye” Deaton and a brother, Harvey Thomas. The family will receive friends, 5-7 p.m., Monday, November 3, with Funeral Services at 11 a.m., Tuesday, all at Memphis Funeral Home on Poplar Ave. Burial will follow in Memorial Park Cemetery.
