Earl Johnson Bayless, age 79, passed away February 14, 2021. He was born January 29, 1942 in Wilson, Arkansas to sharecroppers, Ernest Dewey Bayless and Ruby Lois Morris Bayless.

He was preceded in death by his parents and nine brothers and sisters.

He is survived by his wife of 38 years, Patricia Bayless; children, Cindy Cossey (Dennis), Tammy Miller (Freddie), and Roxanna Jager (Robert); nine grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren. He is also survived by two sisters, Helen Caughran and Barbara Johnston.

A memorial service celebrating Earl's life will be held on Friday, March 12 at 2:00 PM with a catered reception to follow, all at Memphis Funeral Home - Poplar Chapel.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial donations be sent to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
