Earl Hartwell Cook Jr., born December 19, 1951, went to be with the Lord on November 19, 2017. He was a member of Advent Presbyterian Church, an avid outdoorsman and a world traveler. Earl loved duck hunting, fishing, traveling and spending time with his three grandchildren. A joy of his life was cooking for family and friends. After serving 2 years in the United States Marine Corps, Earl went on to be employed at FedEx for 39 years. Earl is preceded in death by his parents, Earl and Rowena Cook. He is survived by his wife Kim Cook and step-sons Jason Johns (Mandy) of Memphis and Kyle Johns (Amy) of Atlanta and grandchildren Charlie Johns, Henry Johns and Elizabeth Johns, his sister Martha Woodward (Odis) of Hewitt, Texas and niece Laura Barlow (Jeff) also of Hewitt, Texas and many cousins and extended family members whom he loved very much. A celebration of his life will be held at 11:00 AM on Saturday November 25 at Advent Presbyterian Church, 1879 North Germantown Parkway, Cordova, Tennessee 38016 .
