

Edward Booker Crenshaw, 77, of Memphis, TN died peacefully at home Wednesday, May 29th 2013. He celebrated working 50 years in the glass business. He graduated Christian Brothers High School and Memphis State University. He was an avid golfer and played for Christian Brothers High School, Memphis State University and in the U.S. Army. He was also a 30 year member of Windyke Country Club. He enjoyed singing and was a member of the St. Louis Catholic Church Choir for 44 years. He was also a member of the Memphis Men of Harmony Barbershop Chorus and the Quicksilver Quartet. Mr. Crenshaw was preceded in death by his parents, Adele and Tom Crenshaw, Sr. and one brother Tom Crenshaw, Jr. He leaves his loving wife of 50 years, Mary Jean Crenshaw, four daughters, Cheryl Eubank (Jay), Lisa Blair (Greg), Deborah Harty (Richard) and Christine Ross (Gene). He is also survived by his grandchildren: Shannon, Paige and Sydney Eubank, Trevor, Coleman and Reid Blair, Lauren Hughes (Chris), Nathan and Nicole Harty and two great-grandchildren: Madelynn and Olivia Hughes; as well as one brother, Robert Crenshaw. The family will receive friends Sunday, June 2, 2013 5:00 – 7:00 pm with a rosary promptly at 7:00 pm at Memphis Funeral Home and Memorial Gardens. Funeral Mass will be held at 10:00 am June 3, 2013 at St. Louis Catholic Church on White Station with food and fellowship at St. Louis Catholic Church Clunan Center to follow the burial at Elmwood Cemetery. The family requests donations to be made to the Monastery of St. Clare, St. Jude Hospital, or the Msg. Clunan Endowment Fund at St. Louis Catholic Church.
