Services will be held at First Baptist Church at the corner of Poplar and Parkway, Friday, September 30 beginning at 11 AM. Burial will follow immediately at Memorial Park Cemetery on Poplar. The family will receive friends at Memphis Funeral Home and Memorial Gardens on Poplar Avenue this Thursday, September 29 from 5PM to 8 PM.
In addition to making candy in Memphis for over 70 years, Mr. Dinstuhl was a member of the Memphis JCs, a deacon of First Baptist Church, one of the original members of the Memphis Police Departments Reserve Division and a veteran of the Tennessee Air National Guard.
He is survived by his wife of 63 years, Grace Y. Dinstuhl, his twin sister Edna McBride, one son, Gary E. Dinstuhl (Elaine), two grandsons, Martin E. Dinstuhl and Andrew J. Dinstuhl (Sarah Grace) and two great granddaughters Martha and Maggie Dinstuhl.
