David Edward Webb, age 79, of Bartlett, TN passed away on Saturday, July 3, 2021. David was born in Memphis, TN on September 5, 1941. He was preceded in death by his parents, William Webb & Winifred Webb; his brother in law, Bill Kavanaugh and his sister in Law, Carole Webb.
Edward graduated from Treadwell High School in 1959, Served in the U.S. Air Force from 1959-1965, Met Alice Montgomery at Eastland Presbyterian Church where they were married on June 22, 1968. Edward & Alice then joined Thrifthaven Baptist Church and had 3 daughters. Edward was active in the church, he was a Sunday School Teacher, he drove the Church bus, and he was a witness to others. He was a man of God, a great example to us all.
Edward is survived by his spouse, Alice Webb; his daughters,Tracy Milthaler (Steve), Sissy Webb, Leslie Ludwig (Todd); his sister, Gail Kavanaugh (Kiki); his brother, Billy Webb; his grandchildren, Kristin Bayliss (Chris), Mara Davis (Justin), Andrew Ludwig, Ashley Sagester (Jeff), Jessica McKnight (Jamie) and Joseph Wolczyk; his great grandchildren, Noah, Brantley, Cheyann, JJ, Casey, Owen, Nathan, Maverick, Rowan and Emma (Coming in November); 3 sister in laws with spouses; 3 brother in laws with spouses ;11 nieces and 9 nephews.
The family will receive friends on Wednesday, July 7, 2021 from 12:00 noon until 2:00pm with services to follow at Family Funeral Care, 4925 Summer Ave, Memphis, TN 38122. The interment will be held immediately following the funeral at Memphis Funeral Home and Memorial Gardens, 3700 North Germantown Parkway, Bartlett, TN 38133.
