She will be remembered as a godly, devoted, steadfast woman whose life was marked by faith, family, and service. After this introduction, Elizabeth will be lovingly remembered as “Elizabeth.”
Elizabeth was preceded in death by her husband of 59 years, Douglas Blurton.
Elizabeth is survived by her children, Caron (Trent) Daniel; Steven (Hope) Blurton; Greg Blurton; and Diane Snyder; as well as 9 grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren.
A matriarch of the family, Elizabeth was the rock and the glue that held her loved ones together. She found deep purpose in reading the Bible, attending church, and participating in Bible study.
Elizabeth volunteered faithfully through her church, including service at a food pantry, and she also enjoyed attending daily mass. Above all, she cherished time with family—whether gathered close to home or making memories together on family vacations in Florida and the Smoky Mountains.
