Eugene "Gene" Trouy, Sr., Memphis, TN, passed away Wednesday, October 5. Gene retired from Sealy Mattress Company and was a founding member of The Church of the Holy Spirit. He is preceded in death by his parents. Gene is survived by his wife Barbara Faquin Trouy, his daughters Cheryl Griffis (Darin) and Robyn Barclay (Randy), his son Eugene Trouy Jr. (Deborah), his Brother Robert Trouy (Mary Beth), and seven grandchildren. A gathering will be held at Memphis Funeral Home Sunday October 9 from 4:00pm to 7:00pm with a rosary service starting at 7:00 pm. The funeral mass will be Monday, October 10 at the Church of the Holy Spirit at 10:00 am. In lieu of flowers, gifts in memory of Gene may be offered to The Church of Holy Spirit.
