Eugenia B. Bell, 91 passed away March 16, 2015 at her home in Memphis, TN. She was born to Bates Durden Benson and Margaret Baggeley Benson in 1923. She attended Wood Jr. College, followed by studies at the University of Texas. She then worked in Buffalo, NY helping with the war effort. She was very active in the UMW and her community.
She was predeceased by her parents; her husband, William D. Bell; a sister, Addie Marie Fohner and a brother, Marvin B. Benson.
She is survived by two nieces, Sharon Fletcher and Deborah Vallez; three nephews, Phillip Benson, Joe Fohner and Tom Fohner.
The family will receive friends Thursday March 19, 2015 from 12:30-2:00 p.m., with funeral services conducted at 2 p.m.; all at Bartlett United Methodist Church, 5676 Stage Road, Bartlett, TN 38134. Interment will follow at Memphis Memory Gardens on Raleigh-LaGrange.
