Jane was born April 15, 1936 in Woodland Mills, TN. Jane Stone is survived by her husband of 65 years, Wallace Stone, Jr (Bud) and their two children, Mark Stone of Bartlett, TN., and Jan Stone Mitchell of Germantown, TN. (husband Greg) and grandchildren, Lindsey of Nashville, TN.(husband Luke) Miller, Maggie of Memphis, TN. (husband Nick) Thompson, and Paige Mitchell of Germantown, TN.
Jane will be remembered by her family and friends by her love of family, sense of humor, caring for others but most of all her love for Jesus. Her history of work mainly consisted of retail like Dottie’s Shoes, Haverty’s Furniture, and Ganto’s Clothing. She also enjoyed helping with children in the Nursey at Colonial Baptist Church and many youth trips. She always put other peoples needs before herself.
She was currently a member of Bellevue Baptist Church. She was very involved with her Sunday school Class. She loved spending time with family and friends when she could and was always entertaining others. She enjoyed fishing, going to estate sales, cooking and had a big love for caring for flowers and her garden.
A visitation for Frances will be held Wednesday, July 13, 2022 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at Family Funeral Care, 4925 Summer Ave, Memphis, TN 38122. A funeral service will occur Wednesday, July 13, 2022 at 3:00pm. A committal service will occur Thursday, July 14, 2022 at 12:00pm at East View Cemetery, 1516 E Mathews St, Union City, TN 38261.
