Harold was a member of the Tennessee Army National Guard's 196th Field Artillery Battalion called to active duty serving in the Korean War. After discharge he worked for AT&T and South-Central Bell for over 42 years. As a deacon at Highland Street Church of Christ, he maintained and operated the sound system for many years before moving to the Germantown congregation.
Well known for his quiet demeanor and handy smile he will be missed. Woodworking was a hobby Harold loved all his life. He was a craftsman skilled in all manner of wood working from full sized Grandfather clocks, exquisite furniture down to toy cars. He enjoyed working with his hands and spending time sharing with those who did too.
