Helen McClendon, 87, of Memphis, died January 12, 2011 at St. Francis Hospital in Memphis, TN. The family will receive friends on Saturday, January 15 from 1:00 p.m. – 2:00 p.m. with funeral services beginning at 2:00 p.m. at Memphis Funeral Home and Memorial Gardens at 5599 Poplar Avenue. Mrs. McClendon was a longtime employee of Three Little Pigs B.B.Q. on Quince Road. She is survived by her daughters Ann Ripley of Memphis and Janie Madewell (Aubrey) of Collierville, TN; sons Tom McClendon (Joan) of Austin, TX and Bill McClendon (Trudy) of Sparks, OK; grandchildren Todd Ripley, Justin Madewell, Alicia Gasbarro, Jessica Jones and Cody McClendon; and three great-grandchildren. Any memorials may be sent to the Billy Graham Foundation.
