Imogene J. Tisdale

Imogene Jones Tisdale, born January 16, 1932, peacefully went to be with the Lord, August 31, 2017. Loving Widow of Lamar Franklin Tisdale, Mother to Linda Tisdale Manson (Michael), Roger Franklin Tisdale (Valerie) and Donna Cheek Lane. Grandmother to Mary Louise Manson (Josh), Jason Albert Tisdale (Jessica), Patricia Michelle Manson Labandeira, Jeremy Roger Tisdale (Karen), Jon Thomas Tisdale (Megan), Stacy Lane and Seth Lane. Great grandmother to Hunter Frank, Taylor Franklin, Michael Timothy, Hayden Christopher, Elizabeth Grace, and Addison Rae. Step Grandmother to Olivia, Jerry, Gwen & Jenna.

She loved her family and extended family so much that the "Jones Family Reunion" was the highlight of each summer for her.

She was always in loving service to God and Community especially through the following:

-Past president United Methodist Women at 11th Ave. Methodist Church in Birmingham, Frayser Heights United Methodist Church, and Highland Heights United Methodist and named UMW Woman of the year in 2003.

-Member and past president of Scenic Hills Garden Club and Scenic Hills Women's Association

-Chaplain of Memphis-Shelby County Council of Garden Clubs (2003-2004). Chaplain for District I Tennessee Federation of Garden Clubs 2005-2007.

-Member and past president of Stewardship Sunday School Class at Highland Heights United Methodist Church.

-Past president and board member of Raleigh Community Council. First Woman to be the President (2012)

Throughout her struggle with cancer, she remained an active and vital part of the community around her.

She was employed by Felsenthal Planning & Service Company since November of 1968, now Felsenthal Financial Services.

She loved being in service to Edward Felsenthal and his family.

There is a little hole left in our world right now, however our lives are filled with loving memories and lessons learned from this great "Lady".
