James Everett Robison

James Robison, resident of Calico Rock, AR, died peacefully, May 18, 2016, at the age of 85. Mr. Robison joined the Army where he served during the Korean Conflict from 1951-1953. He retired from General Electric after many years working as a mechanic. Mr. Robison was an avid fisherman and never missed an opportunity to be out on the water. He was a member of the First Baptist Church in Calico Rock. He is survived by his wife Rebecca Robison, his daughters Cheryl Caldwell and Carol Robison, his twin sister Mary Artman, his brother Richard Robison, three step-children Sylvia McBride, Tracy Gibson, and Daryl Gibson, 8 grandchildren, and 7 great grandchildren. The family will receive friends from 10:00-11:00 a.m., with the funeral service starting at 11:00 a.m. Thursday, May 26, 2016, at Family Funeral Care, 4925 Summer Ave, Memphis, TN. A catered reception will follow the service. The committal service will be held at the West Tennessee State Veterans Cemetery, 4000 Forest Hill Irene Rd, Memphis, TN at 1:15pm. In lieu of flowers the family requests that memorials be made to the First Baptist Church of Calico Rock.
