Janes Heins Campora, 67, of Germantown, Tennessee went to heaven with her Lord and Savior on Easter Sunday April 1, 2018 at home, after many years of health problems. She was born in Richmond, Virginia on September 8, 1951 to Chester and Bessie (Deane) Heins, who preceded her in death. She graduated from the University of Central Florida in 1973 and was married to Richard James Campora in 1983 in Georgia, who preceded her in death in 1999.
Jane and Rich joined Germantown Baptist Church on June 3, 1983. She served faithfully as a kindergarten Sunday School teacher for 32 years, served in Vacation Bible School, attended Bible Study regularly and had many other ministries where she shared the love of Jesus. She was known as a very caring, gentle, kind and giving woman and she touched many lives, even as her health declined.
She is survived by her six children: Andy Campora (Scottie), Matt Campora (Sally), Carrie Sloan (Danny), Ashley Peck, Cheston Camp, and Ben Campora (Jessica). Her beloved eight grandchildren are Noah Schmidgall, Sam Schmidgall, Max Campora, Sophie Campora, Morgan Jane Camp, Peyton Camp, Emma Jane Peck and McKinley Campora. She is also survived by her sister Bette Heins (Thomas Hodges II), her Aunt Barbara Deane Kelcum and nephew Wiley Hodges
Her funeral will be held at Germantown Baptist Church on April 7th at 2:00 PM with Dr. Ken Story officiating. Interment will follow at Southwoods Memorial Park.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests any memorials be sent to Germantown Baptist Church, Brinkley Heights Urban Academy or Gideon’s International.
