Jeffrey N. Cain

Jeffrey Neal Cain, passed away at age 60, January 2, 2016 at Ashton Place Rehab Center where he was recovering from multiple injuries received in a one car accident on November 29, 2015. Jeff was preceded in death by his grandparents, J.N. Cain, Sr. and Ada Belle (Replogle) Cain; his parents J. N. Cain, Jr and Vaida Clair (Wallace) Cain; Aunt Rachel Winfred Nance Boydston, and Uncle Neal Ebenezer Cain. Jeff was born on July 23, 1955 and was an only child to J. N. Cain, Jr and Vaida Clair (Peggy) Wallace Cain in Memphis, TN. He is survived by four uncles: Stennis R. Cain (Betty), Richard G. Cain (Barbara), Rawley H. Cain (Jean) and Marcus O. Cain (Linda). Twelve cousins and their spouses and children.

For five decades, since he was 11, Jeff delivered the morning newspaper to residents of Central Gardens who grew to count not only on the regular delivery, but also on his kind, friendly, reassuring personality. Often his caring attitude flowed over into normal every day life as he offered assistance of any kind to his wonderful friends in Central Gardens.

Visitation will be 1:00pm and funeral service will follow at 2:00pm, Friday, January 8, 2016 at Family Funeral Care. Funeral services will be conducted by Bro. Eugene Norris, Pastor of Range Hills Baptist Church. Burial will be at Forest Hill Midtown Cemetery.
