Jerry Moore

Jerry Lee Moore, 84, of Lakeland, passed on Friday, October 26, 2018. He was born on February 5, 1934 in Union City, Tennessee to the late Clayborn and Ruth Williams Moore. Jerry was preceded in death by his lifelong love Jewele Ann Millard Moore and his beloved son Jerry Lee Moore, Jr. He was also preceded in death by his brother Phillip Moore and his sister Anita Moore Dodd. Jerry is survived by his sister Linda Moore Fleming of Germantown, Tennessee along with a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Jerry is also survived by his extended family of Linder Metts and Paul Wyatt that were like sons to him.

Jerry was an entrepreneur and salesman from his youth up until his passing. Most notable however was his devotion to his family and in particular his wife Jewele. The lifelong love they openly demonstrated was an inspiration to all those that knew them.

The visitation is from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM on Saturday, November 3rd at Rosemark First Presbyterian Church in Millington (heavy hors d’oeuvres provided). The service will begin at 1:00 PM at the church with graveside to follow at Elmwood Cemetery in Memphis.
