Dr. John Nello Giaroli

Dr. John Nello Giaroli, 83, died Friday, July 15, 2011 in his Memphis home. The family will receive friends Monday, July 18, 2011 at Memphis Funeral Home and Memorial Gardens 5599 Poplar Avenue from 5 – 8 p.m. A Funeral Mass will be held at St. Louis Catholic Church on Tuesday, July 19, 2011 at 10:00 a.m. Interment will follow at Memphis Memory Gardens. Born in Memphis, Dr. Giaroli was an Army veteran, and a fan of bocce, bowling and the University of Memphis. He was a communicant at St. Louis Catholic Church. Dr. Giaroli was an Assistant Professor at the UT Dental School for over 37 years. He also maintained his practice in Oral Surgery. He was preceded in death by his wife of 38 years, Mary Nell Giaroli. Surviving are his six children, John N. (Debra) Giaroli, Jr. of Bartlett; Eddie (Carole) Giaroli of Tupelo; Mark Giaroli of Memphis; Cindy (Butch) Volyes of Bartlett; Linda Maners of Millington; and Nancy (Dr. John) Wickman of Cordova; his sister, Angelina Hyatt of Memphis; and 11 grandchildren.
