John Alexander Harville, 43, of Olds, Iowa, formerly of Collierville, TN passed away on Wednesday, April 25, 2012 at his home. He graduated from Collierville High School in 1988 and served in the United States Marine Corps and the National Guard. Mr. Harville is survived by his wife, Debra Layton Harville; daughters, Anna Turnipseed of Collierville, Catherine, Tabetha and Hannah Harville, all of Olive Branch, MS; sister, Melissa Harville Gray of Walnut, MS; parents, Walter and Cheryl Harville of Barton, MS; niece, Shauna Gray; nephew, Jordan Gray; great nephew, Aydon; and several aunts, uncles and cousins. The family will receive friends Thursday evening, May 3 from 5-8 p.m. at Family Funeral Care. Funeral services will be at 9:30 a.m., Friday, May 4 at the funeral home. Interment will follow in West Tennessee Veterans Cemetery with military honors. In lieu of flowers, the family prefers memorial gifts be made to the Wounded Warriors Project.
