Josefine "Fini" Buckler

Josefine Huber Buckler, 90, passed away peacefully on May 13, 2018 in Olive Branch, Mississippi. Josefine was born in Munich, Germany in 1928 and later immigrated to America with her late husband, Josef, in 1951. The Buckler's, along with several of their close friends, were instrumental in founding the Memphis German Club in the late 1950s. Josef and "Fini" spent many happy years dancing and enjoying life's music. They were devoted members for many years at Temple Israel. Above all else, Josefine cherished her family and time spent with loved ones. Josefine is survived by her two brothers, Frederick Huber (Ingrid) of Sacramento, California and Joseph Huber (Betty) of Southaven, Mississippi, as well as a host of nieces and nephews. Graveside services for Josefine will be held Thursday, May 17 at noon at Memphis Memory Gardens, 6444 Raleigh-LaGrange Road, Memphis, Tennessee. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be sent to St Jude Children's Research Hospital.
