Joseph graduated from Gateway Christian School. He loved rescuing stray and needy dogs. Athena and Lucy Lu were his babies. Joseph also had an interest in rodeo bull riding and dirt bike riding. He possessed an instantaneous charm and was undeniably generous and genuine. He was a prankster when he was younger.
He leaves to cherish his memory his two sons, Parker Zane Joyner (Drummonds) and Able Joseph Strickland (Memphis); his father, Frankland Shane Strickland (Bartlett); his mother, Margo Annette Zink (Oliver Springs)his brothers, Jimmy Loope (Jefferson City) and Devon Treadway (Knoxville); his sisters, Lauren Treadway (Maynardville) and Sarah Lavine-Warwick (Oak Ridge); his grandparents, Larry and Billie Strickland (Bartlett), other family and friends.
