Joe worked as a railroad conductor for 41 years. During his retirement he enjoyed sports and was a big fan of the Memphis Tigers and Grizzlies as well as Mississippi State and Dallas Cowboy football. He enjoyed his family and made wonderful memories at home and vacationing at Disney World on a regular basis.
Joe is preceded in death by his parents, John and Viola Turner as well as his brother John and sister Alice.
He is survived by his wife of 31 years, Debbie Turner, children, Joe Turner, Jr. (Sue), Sharon Pentikis (Jay), Becca Melton (Wes), and step daughter Amy; his grandchildren, Jesse Turner, Travis Dasch, Sarah Turner, Garrett Maxwell (Stephanie), and Chloe McGuire; and a brother, David Turner (Anita).
