
He was united in holy matrimony to Odester M. Lee on June 1, 1966.
Judge peacefully departed his earthly life on Tuesday, October 21st, at his home.
Judge accepted Christ at a young age. He graduated from Coahoma Junior College in
May of 1966. In the early 1970s, he began his career as an EMT, serving his community
with compassion and dedication.
In 1977, he moved his family to Memphis, Tennessee,where he was employed with Greyhound Bus Lines for over 20 years.
In the early 1990s, Judge joined Shelby County Corrections as a Corrections Counselor,
where he continued to serve with integrity until his retirement in 2010.
Judge leaves to cherish his memory his devoted wife, whom he lovingly called “Bae,”
Odester M. Lee; his four daughters Tina Franklin (Robert), Belinda Burks, Jackie
Hopson (Ramone), and Christy Lee-Pruitt (Robert III); eight grandchildren Tiffany,
DeAndre, Anitra, Asya, Jayla, Madyson, Collin, and Ayden; and seven great-
grandchildren Dyllon, Le’Aigh, Jayden, DeAndre, Ean, Parker, and Journi.
He also leaves two sisters Rose Williams and Velma McDaniel, six godchildren Shelia,
Patricia, Angela Gray, Angela Walton, and Keedran Franklin, and a host of nieces,
nephews, relatives, and friends who will deeply miss him.
Preceding him in death are his two beloved daughters Michele Lee and Deedra Lee-
Lucas; his grandson Nycholas Shields; and his sister Maggie Moore.
Judge will be remembered for his strong work ethic, his deep love for his family, and his
love for shooting pool and eating watermelon.
