June Craft Powell, 78, passed away on Thursday, March 10, 2016. She retired after over 30 years of service as an agent with Shelter Insurance and very proud of being the first female agent for Shelter. Mrs. Powell was preceded in death by her husband, Simpson Gale Powell. She is survived by two sons, Robert Craft Jr. and Ronald Craft; one brother, Donald Foshee; three grandchildren, Robert Lane Craft, Alexander Craft, Rayanna Craft; two great grandchildren, Logan and Zoey Craft. A gathering of family and friends will be Thursday, 5 to 7 pm at Family Funeral Care, 4925 Summer Ave. Service to be held Friday at 12 pm at the funeral home with burial to follow in West TN Veterans Cemetery.
