Kathryn Gardner Duke 98 years old, born June 9, 1917, died August 9, 2015. Preceded by her parents Alvin and Virgie Gardner, husband James E. Duke, sister Hazel Wilson Greene, son Jerry E. Duke, daughter Elaine Young, one grandson, one granddaughter, and two great-grand daughters. She is survived by brother Bill Gardner (Ruth),brother –in-law Dayne Duke (Norma Jean) daughters Peggy Rinaldi (Richard), Nelda Giatras (Frank), son Jim Duke, 14 grandchildren, 28 great grandchildren and 8 great-great grandchildren. She is retired from Sears and did alterations out of her home. She was a very active member of Central Church until 4 years ago when she became a resident of Quince Nursing and Rehab Facility. Memorials may be sent to Central Church. Visitation will be Thursday August 13th from 10-12 with service immediately following at 12 Central Church 2005 Winchester Rd. Collierville, TN. Burial will be held at 4:00 Tansil Cemetery, Sharon. TN.
