Kenneth Ray Graves, 86, of Memphis, Tennessee, passed away July 23, 2025. He was born October 17, 1938 in Grace, Mississippi to Ernest Lavert Graves and Sarah Catherine Ross Graves. He graduated from Humes High School and served in the U.S. Army. He was retired from D. Canale Beverage Company and also worked part-time at the Mid-South Coliseum. He was baptized in and a member of Highland Heights Baptist Church. He loved softball and played into his fifties. He enjoyed watching sports, especially college football and cheering on his Ole Miss Rebels.
He was preceded in death by his wife, JoAnn Bowie Graves and his brother, Thomas Lavert Graves. Kenneth is survived by his children, Jody Ray Graves and Janet Donnell (Michael) and grandson, Brandon Ray Bumgarner.
The family will receive friends at visitation on Saturday, August 2 from 1:00 PM until the memorial service at 2:00 PM, at Family Funeral Care, 4925 Summer Avenue, Memphis, TN 38122. A reception will immediately follow.
