Laney Leigh Starr King

Laney Leigh Starr King, 2 months old, passed away September 23, 2014 in Memphis. Laney was named after her grandmother, Lana, and great-grandfather, Lannie. From two weeks old, she never stopped smiling. She was a true living angel baby (who even had an “angel kiss”). She lived with the pure love and joy that all of her family members do that are still living and have preceded her in death. She was preceded in death by her grandmother, Lana York, grandfather, Wesley G. King, and her great grandfather, Lannie Wise. Laney is survived by her parents, Wes and Tina King, her brother, Wesley King, grandparents, Chauncey York (Pat) and Alan and Nancey King, great-grandparents, Harold and Shelia Graves, and her great-grandmothers, Jean Wise and Norma King. She is also survived by her aunt, Cristen Frosch, uncle, Johnny York (Katrina), great aunts, Angela DuMont (Don) and Peggy Wise, as well as five cousins, Stella, Lyla, Vivian, Ashlynn, and June. The family will receive friends Saturday, September 27, 2014 from 2-3pm and a Celebration of Life service will follow at 3pm, all at Family Funeral Care, 4925 Summer Ave. Memphis with Rev.
