Larry was a lover of life. He loved to socialize and was a big talker. He was a master storyteller of all kinds. He told of driving 18 wheelers across the country, riding his harley motorcycle up to Harley Davidson dealership, fixing vehicles in his shop and his love of people. Larry wore a smile better than anyone around and loved to laugh. He constantly expressed his love for his family and his zest for life will be surely missed.
He was preceded in death by his father, Darrell Bross; grandmother Janice Bross; and grandfather Larry Bross.
Larry leaves behind his uncle, Russell "Bo" Hagemaster; his long time friend and caregiver, Shelia Taylor; great-grandfather, Russell Hagemaster, Sr.; mother, Lisa King; sister, Karla R. Stroud; and his brother, William L. Stroud.
A visitation for Larry will be held Monday, February 24, 2025 at 1:00 PM at Memphis Funeral Home, 5599 Poplar Ave, Memphis, Tennessee. A funeral service will occur Monday, February 24, 2025 at 2:00 PM, 5599 Poplar Ave, Memphis, Tennessee. A committal service will occur Monday, February 24, 2025 at 3:00 PM at Memphis Memory Gardens, 6444 Raleigh Lagrange Rd, Memphis, Tennessee.
Larry will be laid to rest in Memphis Memory Gardens, 6444 Raleigh Lagrange Road, Memphis, Tennessee.
Serving as pallbearers are Ed Lindsey, Demarco Dorsey, Jeffrey Gibson, Mandaro Graffed, John Hughes and Mike Wheat.
