Lawrence (Larry) E. Williams, Sr. of Memphis, TN , 69, passed away Tuesday, January 12,, 2016. His belief in higher education led him in various directions of talent and career choices. He was preceded in death by his parents, Maxie E Williams and Sarah Louise Williams Townsend and one son, Robert Williams. Larry is survived by his loving wife, Lucinda Williams; two sons, Lawrence Williams Jr. and Paul Williams; one daughter, Christina Komarec (Rob); daughter-in-law, Amy Williams Hall (Tim); one stepbrother, James Townsend (Lucy); and eight grandchildren, Thomas Williams, Brooke Williams, Sara Kate Williams, Markham Williams, Owen Williams, Madelyn Williams, Aleena Komarec and Sylvie Komarec. Visitation will be held Friday, January 15 from 10 am till his service begins at 11 am, all at Family Funeral Care, 4925 Summer Ave. Burial will follow in Memphis Memory Gardens.
