She was preceded in death by her son, Lucas Rasasane and her sister, Heather Dowdy.
Leila is survived by her husband of 14 years, Chou Rasasane; her children, Camden Dowdy, Conner Rasasane, Lydia Rasasane, Rylan Rasasane; her mother, Pam Curry (Doug), her father, Jim Dowdy; and her brother, Ryan Dowdy.
She loved the beach, traveling and most importantly loved being a mom. She will be missed by all who had the privilege of knowing her.
A memorial gathering will be held from 2:00pm to 4:00pm on Saturday, December 20 at Family Funeral Care, 4925 Summer Ave, Memphis, TN.
