Leona M. Stettler, 74, of Bartlett, passed away September 30, 2014. Born in Philadelphia, PA on February 10, 1940, Leona has lived in the Memphis area for 22 years. She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, daughter, and sister. She was a fabulous cook and she enjoyed arts, crafts, knitting, and gardening. Mrs. Stettler was preceded in death by her husband, Richard A. Stettler, Sr.; her father, Harry Wittmer; her brother, Wayne Wittmer; and her granddaughter, Alicia E. Rohan. Leona is survived by four children, Dave (Laura) Stettler, Richard Stettler, Sandra L. Hoover (Ron Pruette), and Jim (Sandy) Stettler; her mother, Leona Wittmer; her brother, Harry Wittmer; nine grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren. Private memorial services will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, lasting memorials may be directed to the ALS Association, St. Jude Hospital, or a charity of the donor’s choice.
