LEORA PAULINE SPENCER, 82, born July 6, 1930 was called home to be with her Lord on January 1, 2013, surrounded by her loving family at her daughter’s home. She was preceded in death by her parents, Russell and Mary Lou Stamey and her husband, Bobby George Spencer. She is survived by three daughters, Billie Sue Wilson (Barry) of Bartlett, TN, Brenda Ann Gray (Dewey) of Bethel Springs, TN and Linda Jean Hayes (Ronald) of Memphis, TN; nine grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren. She is also survived by her sister, Ann Ladd Chism of Memphis and her brother, Clyde Stamey of Ashland, MS as well as nieces and nephews. Visitation will be Thursday, January 3 from 5-8 p.m. at Memphis Funeral Home, Poplar Avenue Chapel, with graveside services in Harmony Cemetery, Walnut, MS. at 12 p.m., Friday, January 4.
