He is survived by his three sons: Bryan Edward Cochran (Teresa) of Brighton, Tennessee; Lewis Anthony Cochran (Pam) of Olive Branch, Mississippi; and James William Cochran (Paula) of Dandridge, Tennessee.
Lewis was a proud grandfather to seven grandchildren: Ashley Lucius (Jay) of Arlington, Tennessee; Cody Cochran (Jessica) of Arlington, Tennessee; Brittany Cochran of Olive Branch, Mississippi; Courtney Cochran of Olive Branch, Mississippi; Billy Cochran of Moss Point, Mississippi; Megan Watson (Dylan) of Sevierville, Tennessee; and Bryanna Backlin (Kaleb) of Hurley, Mississippi. He was also blessed with 11 great-grandchildren.
He is also survived by his brothers, William H. Cochran (Linda) of Little Rock, Arkansas, and Robert J. Cochran of Marlton, New Jersey; and his sister, Brenda D. Evans (Gary) of Hickory Plains, Arkansas.
Lewis was a loving husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, brother, and friend. He enjoyed spending time fishing and crabbing, tending his garden, and tinkering with small engines. He was an avid fan of the Dallas Cowboys and Atlanta Braves and could often be found watching old Westerns on television. His greatest joy came from the time he spent with his family and the memories they created together.
Though his family mourns his passing, they find comfort in knowing that Lewis has been reunited in Heaven with his beloved Janie. They hold firmly to the promise that they will one day be together again.
Lewis will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him, but his legacy of love, faith, and devotion to family will live on in the hearts of those he leaves behind.
