Lillian Swain Ciaramitaro, 103, died peacefully at home on April 1, 2013. A communicant at Catholic Church of the Resurrection, Mrs. Ciaramitaro was also a member of the Telephone Pioneers and a 42 year retiree from BellSouth as a Service Observer, known as “Ears”. The family will receive guests on Thursday, April 4, 2013 from 5PM – 8PM with the Rosary Prayer beginning at 7PM all at Memphis Funeral Home and Memorial Gardens located at 5599 Poplar Avenue. Funeral Mass will be on Friday, April 5 beginning at 10AM at Catholic Church of the Resurrection. Msgr. Victor Ciaramitaro will be the officiator. Entombment will follow in the mausoleum at Calvary Cemetery. Lillian was preceded in death by her husband Dominick Ciaramitaro and all of her immediate family members. She is survived by her sister-in-laws Rose Gorgia, Flora Lucido (Russell) and Mary Grace Osburn; her niece and caregiver Carolyn Heitman and family; niece Joyce Rilea and family; and many other nieces, nephews and extended family.
