Cousin Grant was an intelligent, laughable and humorous brother.  I remember visiting y'all when I was growing up, and Grant was always telling jokes and having fun.

Remember, he has transitioned from the physical realm to the Spiritual realm, and a Righteous Spirit NEVER dies.

Our entire family suffer the loss of Uncle Grant. He was the one who made any get together a celebration. We loved his stories! Condolences, love Gods strength to Joyce, Grant Jr, Joy and Janae'.

I am going to miss my cousin and our private conversations. Things that were only between us. I am going to miss his laughter. Cuz would say things that would have you falling out of your seat. He was a strong family man, including his in-laws. We discussed having a family reunion before we started leaving here. Unfortunately, that didn’t happen.  I love you and will miss you, cousin Grant.

What a great time we had visiting with our dear cousin. I will always cherish the memories  of that visit

I could tell many stories about my good friend.  We traveled to so many places and saw so much on the road.  It was some of the best times of my life.  Doug was such a fun and big hearted person to be around.  I also learned so much from him and it helped me throughout my career and family life.  His pride and joy was his family.  He often would tell me about all of them and how they were doing.  He was so proud of each and every one of them. I will miss him much.  RIP ole buddy....

My heart is broken right now. I know that Grant was going through a lot but he fought a good fight, he kept the faith and finished the race and is now resting and at peace in the loving arms of God. My prayer is that God grants you and family comfort, strength and peace in the difficult days ahead.

Grant’s stories, his laughter and his love for family will be missed.  To Joyce, Joy, Grant Jr. and Janai, just know that he will be a legacy to your family and our family.  We’re sorry we can’t be there with you, but know that we are praying God’s comfort to all of you.

Please accept my deepest condolences on the loss of Mr Douglas.
