M. F. "Bill" Brents

M.F. “Bill” Brents, 80, of Fisherville, TN, died October 6, 2010 at Baptist Hospital in Memphis, Tennessee. The family will receive friends on Friday, October 8 from 12PM until funeral services begin at 2PM all at Memphis Funeral Home and Memorial Gardens on Poplar Avenue. Mr. Brents retired from Smith’s Pies, formerly known as Pure Packed Foods. He was a former member of Bellevue Baptist Church and current member of Hope Presbyterian Church. An expert marksman for the U.S. Marine Corps., Mr. Brents was a true outdoorsman who loved to hunt, fish, camp and garden. He is survived by his wife of 62 years Sue Gordon Brents; children Susan Gail Brents of North Carolina, Beverly Jo Brents Rowlett (Pat) of Braden, TN, and Keith Gordon Brents of Fisherville, TN; sister Stella Brents Ellison (Don) of Martin, TN; grandchildren April Michelle Crump Baker (Jason) of Benton, AR, Kimberly Crump Blair (Justin) of Oakland, TN, Heather Rowlett Jackson (Jeremy) of Warwick, R.I., Kaitlin Olivia Brents of Memphis, TN, and William Hunter Brents of Fisherville, TN; two great-grandchildren Aiden William Baker of Benton, AR and Carter Jackson of Warwick, R.I.
